Exclamation Stackable Washer/Dryer front panel removal
Brand: General Electric
Model Number: WSM2480d3
Age: 1 - 4 years

While washing last night, the machine was seriously off balance and now the tub is sidewards, thinking maybe a belt, it looks like the tub is off a track or something. Need to figure out how to remove the front panel to look at tub. Any ideas?
Thanks

The model number that you have give is for a Whirlpool.

To remove the front panel use a putty knife to release the clip that are between the top of the washer and the front panel.

The clips are about two inches in from the side of the washer.

Here is a link to your washer model WSM2480d0ww.

To remove front panel, in the back of the machine there's a green clip on each side of the rear of the top with a 5/16" metal screw remove those 2 and slide the top to the front. When the top becomes loose disconnect the lid switch, and remove top. Now inside the right & left top of front panel there's 2 more 5/16" screws. Remove the front panel.
