Default Squealing constantly
Brand: Admiral
Model Number: AW20N2V
Age: 5 - 10 years

Other than this high pitched squealing that would peel paint off the walls, the washer runs fine.
It squeals during the washing cycle, when the spin cycle stops, and it squeals anytime there is movement. It has been going on a few months and I couldn't stand it any longer, I ordered a belt from here, replaced that and it still is doing the same thing...any ideas?

Thank you in advance

With the front off the the washer see if you can pin point what is squealing.

Here is a link to your washer model AW20N2V.

Ok I have the washer running now, I took the front panel off and didn't see anything rubbing and I couldn't determine where the sound was coming from.
One other thing to add maybe its helpful maybe not, but it doesn't make this sound during the spin cycle, but as soon as the cycle is done and it stops the sound is there, almost like when you suddenly hit the brakes in your car.

Thanks again for trying to help me with this

It has to be some thing to do with the motor pulley or the pump.

Remove the belt and run it to see if the motor make the noise.

Turn the pump pulley by hand and see if it is hard to turn.
