Question Are SQ really ....SLOW jOKERS?
Brand: Speed Queen
Model Number: AWM573W3
Age: 5 - 10 years

I got this SQ 2 speed 9 cycle Washer in trade and we already replaced the belt and drain pump. But it just seems to not have Power in spinning or aggitating cycles. Some loads are wetter than others and sometimes it has this loose rattling noise while running. I checked to see if there was a loose screw or tool hitting metal interior framing to cause this noise and found nothing.
Are these machines any good? or are they Over Priced Part Suckin Machines that needs to change the name to "SLOW WENCH" ? LOL!!!
I have my good ole maytag waiting for another drain pump
and know that DIY & a PRO too!

Make sure that the idler pulley is moving freely.

If the idler is not keeping tension on the belt it will not spin as fast as it should.

Here is a link to your washer model AWM573W.
