Question Spins slow but does not spin fast
Brand: Roper
Model Number: rax4232kq0
Age: 5 - 10 years

My 5yr old Roper spins slow but does not spin fast. What parts should I replace?

Does the washer wash at the proper speed?

Check the clutch.

Yes the washer does wash at proper speed. It only does not spin fast. Does it need a new clutch?

If your motor was running at a slow speed, it could be a bad timer.
Before replacing this pull pump and motor off and try to turn the tranny coupler clockwise. If hard to turn, you have either something in the tub or dragging brake shows. Check and post results.

Yes the clutch will slip if there is a jam somewhere and the clutch housing will get hot.
