Default Spin Cycle Skipped. Intermittent
Brand: Amana
Model Number: NAV3330EWW
Age: 1 - 4 years

The washer should go from the Rinse to the spin cycle then turn off but instead the Rinse cycle just continues until the cycle is finished. So the timer is continuing to move but it just never moves from rinse to spin. You can then get it to spin by manually turning to the place where spin would start. So its not the motor. This problem happens about 50% of the time. This problem occurrs in all cycles ( perm press, normal, etc.)

Is the timer moving through the spin cycle but the washer does not spin?

It may be the lid switch.

Here is a link to your washer model NAV3330EWW.

On all cycles (regular, perm press, etc) the washer just keeps rinsing right through what would be the spin cycle until the cycle is over.

Do you mean that the agitator is moving all the time?

Does the washer drain at all?

When the washer come to the spin cycle does the motor pause and then go in the other direction?

Does the washer drain the water out at the end of the cycle?

Please reply on the forums not by email. Thanks.
