Brand: Maytag
Model Number: mavt236aww
Age: 5 - 10 years

Hello. My maytag washer basket locks up during the spin cycle. It starts out fine,but seems to start adjatating while spinning,and the basket stops. Then it resumes spinning,and does it again. THANK YOU for any help !!

Check the cam that is in the center of the pulley to see if there is damage to is and it is slipping.

To do this tip the washer back and remove the dust cap.
