Question Spin cycle completes - clothes still very wet
Brand: Admiral
Model Number: aav8000aww
Age: 1 - 4 years

Spin cylce completes fully, however clothes are still very wet whether it is a large or small load. Washer is in balance. Could the pump have coins in it reducing its capacity?

When this happened to my washer, I found that the drain hose was kinked so the water drained too slowly to get all the water out by the end of the cycle. You can get a new hose or just shorten the one you have.

If that's not the problem, listen during the final spin cycle to see if your washer is spraying water when it should not be.

Thanks. We run the spin cycle multiple times with minimal improvement. Either its not spinning fast enough or not enough pump sunction capacity.
