all cycles except spin operate-water pump ok -agitate ok
motor hums when in spin cycle, basket does not move

If the washer will pump the water out that means that motor is running for the spin cycle.

Check and make sure that the washer does agitate in the wash cycle.

There is a piece that goes between the motor and the transmission that may be broken.

The pump is on the other end of the motor and this is why it will pump out.
