Brand: Whirlpool
Model Number: LSQ7030LQ0
Age: 1 - 4 years

SOAPY WATER CAME OUT OF THE BOTTOM OF THE MACHINE ONCE ONLY ,BUT FURTHER LOOKING THE BACK OF THE MACHINE IS RUSTY SHOULD i CHANGE THE PUMP
OR IS IT A SEAL IN THE PUMP THAT MIGHT HAVE WORN OUT?

looking at the machine more the water looks like it drip down the back of the machine rust on back panel of washer any ideas on what to do?

no rust around the pump so I don't think that's the problem it's some kind of slow drip any help would be appreciated!!

Washers can do what you're explaning, too much soap foam will spill over on the floor. My wife's maytag performa will dump a big pile of soap suds every couple months, on the floor. We have extremely soft water and just a bit too much soap I believe makes this problem. If you had a leak somewhere, it would leak everytime.

I measure the exact soap out I use powder and always fill to the line to the amount I'm washing thanks anyways

Oh My... I got on here to see if I could find out anything about my washer. I also have a Whirlpool 4-5 years old. Ours starting yesterday, slowly (but steadily) dripping soaping water during the cycle. I think it drips more during the spin cycle and during each wash leaks more. I called a repairman today... they said it sounds like the drain pump. But, I am going to do further investigating tonight.
