Model Number: 110.82870820
Age: More than 10 years

Everythign seems to work fine with the machine except the agitation is slow. What might be the problem and parts needed to repair it? Please include detailed instructions for repair.

A washer motor will not run lower than synchronous speed without smoking. They will run slow and draw excessive current if timer puts voltage on the low and high speed windings at the same time.
Check your speed control switch if you have one: check per schematic.
Otherwise, you probably have burnt/ fused timer contacts. It's also possible you have a stripped agitator.
