A washer motor will not run lower than synchronous speed without smoking. They will run slow and draw excessive current if timer puts voltage on the low and high speed windings at the same time.
Check your speed control switch if you have one: check per schematic.
Otherwise, you probably have burnt/ fused timer contacts. It's also possible you have a stripped agitator. |
