Default Skipping spin and rinse
Brand: Maytag
Model Number: mav7600aww
Age: 5 - 10 years

It is skipping spin and the rinse cycles. You can go back and place the nob there and it will work, it is just skipping them. What part may be the problem?

PS already checked the lid switch.

Hi … Not sure about your washer, but are you sure it is not on delicate cloth cycle or wool cycle, because they are made for cloths that can not stand draining and spinning with out getting damaged, so they simply don’t drain or spin. Also some washers have a button to stop draining and spinning make sure that, if you have one, it is not selected. Good luck.
