Roper washer won't drain

Age: 5 - 10 years

washer runs normal in beginning of cycle but will not drain

Can you please supply your model number?

Check all the cycles on the timer to make sure that it is not the timer.

Check the lid switch.

Can you hear the motor running?

If you drain the water out will the washer spin?

turned out to be the lid switch. Thanks....
