Default Roper Washer Rinse/spin problem
Brand: Roper
Model Number: RAS8333PQ0
Age: Please select

Wahser was working fine until yesterday. I had put blanket in it. Suddently it started very big noise while rinse/spin (like someone is beating wall). I immediately stopped and started again...its same

I checked basket/tub inside....the one with holes in it...it looks like it is loose..it is moving very easily..not just round but off the round also...not very sure how it was earlier..

can any one help on this?

Default

Remove the cabinet from the washer and check to see if the tub balance spring has broken or the spot where it is suppose to hook to the base has rusted through.

To remove the cabinet disconnect the power.

Remove the control panel.

Release the to brass spring clips in the corners and disconnect the lid switch wiring harness.

Open the lid of the washer and grab the inside of the hole and tilt the cabinet forward.

You will now be able to see if something is broken.

Here is a link to your washer model RAS8333PQ0.
