i need to repair the water feeds to the washer and i cant figure out how to access them? how do i get the back of the washer off?

You don't, you lift off the cabinet! start by removing the 2 long screws, either by removing the 2 in the front lower corners of the control panel, or yours might have them in the rear lower corners of the control panel, then tilt the panel up and back on it's hindges now pry up on the 2 brass clips that hold down the cabinet. then unplug the lid switch wires ,Now just tilt the cabinet to you and lift it off. reverce the order after you replace water valves

Hot water will not go into washer. Hot water is on and inlet screen on washer is clean. Cold water works fine. This is a Roper about 5 years old.

Leajean; to ck water valve, switch the wires to the valve, now does the hot switch turn on the cold? if so replace water valves
