My roper dishwasher started making a rough sounding loud noise tonight when the water is draining out. I took the clothes out and didn't turn it back on to see what happened. Any ideas as to what it could be and how to fix it?

I guess you mean your Roper washer? First thing is feel around the inner tub, and make sure, you don't have a foreign object stuck in the holes of the tub. It also could be something in the pump. To check that, unplug the washer, and pull it away from the wall, and lean it back, and then lay down an look underneath and there will be two big black hoses going to the pump.
