Default Right Parts?
Brand: General Electric
Model Number: WJSE4150B2WW
Age: 1 - 4 years

My washer is very difficult to start. This is because the start switch on the back splash is behind a rubber cover and mounted on the control board. The feet brackets on the board have cracked in two and the board separated from the mounting flanges. I have used a tie wrap to reattach it but the switch tab is broken off.

So to start it, one needs to get a rod or pen and try to manipulate the arm that is still in place but slightly hidden from view.

I have looked at the drawings for this model and on the back splash control drawing there is part # 35. This appears as the entire assembly for the circuit board that has the start switch attached. Problem is that there is insufficient detail for me to tell.

Can any one verify that part # 35 on that drawing is indeed the correct part to replace the start switch assembly?

Thanks

Yes the control assembly is the part that you will have to replace.

No.. I dissagre. The parts breakdown shows a plastic front panel pn wh46x10096
This part probably has at least four plastic tabs that hold the pc board in place, is this correct. If so you need to order this part
