Default Replacing clutch
Brand: Kenmore
Model Number: 110.20712991
Age: 5 - 10 years

I have a mess. I tried to replace the clutch and I cannot remove the parts underneath. I have the motor and pump off and have removed the 3 bolts and it drops about a 1/2 inch but no farther. How can I remove the gear housing to get to the clutch? What else needs to be removed?

Default Remove agitator

Hi,

I tried to remove the agitator but it still would not separate. I took the bolt out of the top of the agitator. What else needs to be done to take off the agitator?

You put your fingers under each side of bottom of agitator and lift and pull off.
no big deal
