Good luck. If it.s just the pulley you want to replace just turn the washer upside down to allow clearance.
Basically you need to pull the tub assemly out and loosten the housing screws. There is a 200 pound tension spring in there. This reference site facilitates removal of spring without a special puller tool.
This is rather labor intensive and I have never done one:most customers opt for new washer.
