Default Removing front panel
Brand: Maytag
Model Number: MAV 7557 EWW
Age: 5 - 10 years

I have a Maytag Ensignia Model MAV 7557 EWW cloths washer. I am trying to figure out how to remove the front panel so that I can check the belts. The only screws that I see are at the bottom on the sides about 4 inches back from the front. I loosened one of those and tried to pry out from the bottom but nothing seemed to happen. Didn't want to get to physical. Any help would be appreciated.....thank you,

To remove the front panel you will need to release the two clips between the top and the front panel.

Using a putty knife locate the clips that are about two inch in from the side.

Push in on the clip and lift at the same time and they will release.

Here is a link to your washer model MAV7557EWW.
