HI- Am trying to replace spin/agitator belt on Maytag Legacy. The pump is attached to the motor and belt pulley is between pump and motor.
In trying to remove pump so can attach belt, I removed 3 screws from plastic pump - it's loose but will not come off. Is the plastic fitting between pump and motor just stuck or is there another way to remove?

It is seized on.

Put some penetrating fluid on it and wait awhile and then it should come off.

The plastic is part of the pump.
