Default Remove & Replace Tub
Brand: Whirlpool
Model Number: LTE5243BWO
Age: 5 - 10 years

I'm replacing the washers inner Tub by loosening the nut holding on the agitator.

What about the outer basket surrounding the inner basket does it also come out by simply removing the nut from the agitator? (There is an outer basket surrounding the inner Tub completely.) Hum . . .

Once you have the agitator out you will have to remove a large nut that is holding the tub in place.

Here is a link to your washer model LTE5243BWO.
