Default Pressure Box Removal on GE washer
Brand: General Electric
Model Number: WDSR2080DAWW
Age: 1 - 4 years

My washer is over filling causing a flooding problem. I pulled the tube off and blew into it and it activated the pressure switch and shut the water off. It looks like there is something inside the box that is on the side of the tub and i'm not sure if it supposed to be there or not. I'm guessing it's not building up enough pressure to activate the switch? Is this box removable to clean it out?

The air box is a part of the tub.

There may be something blocking the hole to the box.

You may have to take the tub out to see.

Try blowing down to the air box.

If may be that the pressure switch stuck.

If all is clear replace the pressure switch.

Here is a link to your washer model WDSR2080DAWW.
