I bought this washer from someone so im not sure how old it is, Ive had it a few months. It started to give out right after I got it. Sometimes it would not agitate during wash cycle, so I would have to run the cycle 2x's. Then it would sound like it was washing/rinsing, but was not moving. And now it is not draining the water. It just makes a buzzing sound. What needs to be replaced? Can my husband fix it himself? If not about how much will it cost to repair?

This style of washer came out around 1995.

It could be the control that needs to be replace.

If your husband can read a schematic diagram he may be able to fix it.
