Default Over Flowing Washer
Brand: Frigidaire
Model Number: FLSE72GC
Age: 5 - 10 years

I have a Frigidaire stacked washer/dryer unit. When I run a full load and the tub goes into the spin mode water over flows out of the indentation or slot cut into the splash tub cover next to where the pressure tube clips into the splash tub cover. It appears this indentation or slot is only one half inch above the splash tub seal. When the tub fills with water durring the fill cycle it fills to the height of the highest row of holes in the spin tub. Is this level of fill normal ? Could this be the problem or is something else causing it to overflow. Any suggestions on how to fix this would be great.

Two questions:
do you put the clothes in first, then start the fill? Do you feel that if the water level would work better if it was 1 inch or so lower?
you can raise or lower the level, by carefully adjusting the setting on the water
level switch. In the control panel, the level switch, has a small 1/4" hex screw, one turn out lowers the level approx 1" as well as one turn in raises the level 1 "
So following that, if you turn the screw out "ccw", 1 and 1/2 turns and lower the level, it might solve your problem. I've found some machines need readjustments after a few years of use. Betty Boop!!

Thank you for the quick response. I put the clothes in first. Regardless of what size load setting the selector is in it overflows. I do not know if the load size selector determines the water level. If the load size selector determines the water level less water would not solve the problem.

Ok then the clear hose could be disconnected from the water fill switch, or where it connect to the tub. Also the hose ends could be streched out, cut off about 3/8ths " off each end of the clear hose, which will tighten the air leak.

Thank you for all the advice, I lowered the water level and checked the pressure switch, however, it was still overflowing. Then I realized that the pump was not completely draining the tub after a cycle; then I ran the pump several times and noticed that the flow of water coming out of the discharge hose was not as fast as I am accustomed to. So I replaced the pump and it appears to be working fine.
Thank you for all of your help.
