 Only agitates 2 min then drains Brand: Kenmore Model Number: 110-82383800 Age: More than 10 years
Washer in summer home worked fine last fall. This spring on very first load the tub filled and agitator started like normal. After approx 2 min. it started to drain. Then when about half drained it would fill again and start to agitate again. This time only for a few seconds, then it would start to drain again. This pattern kept repeating, but the timer seemed to be advancing O.K. When it got to the spin cycle it seemed to work normally. Someone suggested the timer was bad, so we installed a new timer and the problem is still there. (I guess it is possible that the new timer is defective.) Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. |
