someone please help me as i am at my wits end!!!!!
my washer initially seemed to have a timer problem . would fill but nothing else. i replaced the timer and it would fill but nothing else again. checked lid switch and water level switch per service manual and they checked out ok. disconnected motor and used test cord, no motor. replaced motor and again would fill but nothing else. placed jumper wire across lid check switch and what do you know it would now agitate and spin, yeah!!!. purchased lid check switch and installed it. now it wont fill. tested water level switch again and it appears to function properly. manually filled with hose and will agitate spin but wont fill for a rinse. manually fill again, timer advances through rinse agitate and final spin. replaced water valve and still no fill. have plenty of water pressure and temp selecter seems to have continuity across terminals so now i dont know what to try next.
i am sick of my machine but have purchased so many parts for it i feel compelled to finish the job. any input of any kind would be vastly appreciated as i am running out ideas and am getting despondent.
Thanx in advance,
GRLGRL

It sounds like you may have a wire that is broken.

You will have to check your wires with your meter.

Here is a link to your washer model lat8214aae.
