Default Old GE Washer dial settings
Brand: General Electric
Model Number: WWA8620
Age: More than 10 years

My used GE washer works ok except the pointer on the dial does not point to the function going on. Such as points to spin when rinsing. The pointer only fits on the shaft one way so I don't see a way to adjust it. Any ideas?

Take a sharpie and make a mark where the pointer should be, that's what do

Thanks for the Sharpie idea. Had hoped I might be able to find a way to have this set properly to avoid confusion.
