GTF1040ASO is my model. I've taken it apart (bottom plate) and emptied the pump of $2.00 in quarters and a 3/16th drill bit.

The issue is that it is not spinning during the spin cycle. Looks more like it keeps washing (agitating) back and forth... during one of the last agitations it goes a little longer and almost starts spinning good, then stops.

I'm thinking the motor is good, the pump is surely good. Is there a main board somewhere that could be shorting?

Thanks!

There is a main board but check the door lock.

If the door is not locked the washer will not spin.
