Check to see if the door is locked.

If the door does not lock the washer will not spin.

Yes the door is closed but is it locked?

Is the washer giving any codes?

Does your washer have a display where it shows the time left in the cycle?

This is where the code would show.

When the lock light is lit did you try to open the door?

Sheila, there is no display on this model, and I did try to open door but it is locked as it should be.

This no spin cycle occurs on all wash cycles as well as selecting drain and spin function only.

OK were any of the light flashing in the control panel?

These are a form of code.

There should be a tech sheet on the left hand side behind the front panel that will help you determine the problem with the washer.

Sorry Sheila, no flashing lights, and after a few clockwise/counterclockwise slow rotations the machine shuts off as if cycle completed.

Did you find the technician sheet?

It is likely the motor speed controller that has failed.

It is located in rear left corner of the washer.
