Everything works except the spin cycles. Agitator is fine. This is a no-belt machine. Turned machine on its back. Tub will not budge. No other symptoms.

Does the motor run in the spin cycle?

Does the water drain?

yes, the motor runs and the water drains. The only apparent problem is the failure to spin dry.

Check the lid switch and see if it has continuity.

To check the lid switch remove the two screws in the console.

Disconnect the lid switch harness and with an ohm meter test the operation.
