Question No Power to Electronic Display
Brand: Whirlpool
Model Number: WTW6600SW1
Age: Less than 1 year

We recently encountered a power surge to the house which knocked out several electronic items of which I have reparied. I am puzzled however on the repair of our Whirlpool Cabrio washing machine.

The electronic display will not power on which leads me to believe it is the control unit board or the user display board. I have examined both and there is no evidence of damage. There is also no visible damage to the wire harness or connectors.

I have checked that there is power to the control board, but do not know how to check the boards themselves.

Please help.
