Short humming noise when hot water cycle is selected but no water flows into tub. All works washing with only cold cycle, so far not able to find a manual online.

Set water washer to HOT fill. Turn wsher on and hold fill hose close to inlet valve. If it vibrates and there is no water out, maybe plugged with debris?
DO NOT REMOVE the screen. Clean screen by spritzing windex or some mild cleaner into screen area till junk is washed out.
If that doesnt solve, change out the valve.
Find out how to remove the old valve. DIRECT DRIVE WASHER are not taken apart from the back.
