It has to be the hot water solenoid. But you must get a new one which has both hot and cold water valves.

Remove your hose check it is clear of obstructions. Some of them have a washer with a screen built in
Check the hot water valve all of them have a screen built into the input side of the valve. Probably plugged.

If all is OK then it could be the timer, the temp selector switch or the valve assembly

With a little luck, you can undo the screw holding the valves and have enough slack to get to it's connections. Do this with the machine unplugged. Swap the wires from the cold to the hot and visa versa. Reconnect hoses onto the correct valve inputs, plug it in and give it a try. If you now have hot water instead of cold the valve is OK.

That leaves the timer and the temp select switch

While you are at it check your hoses if bulged or cracked replace them
Would also drain some water out of you hot water tank, if you do not do this a couple times a year it will be dirty.

Yes Carlniemann my message was directed at Marcia
This is her thread/forum post

You should start you own thread by using the Post New Topic
Short description of your problem, Make and Model
It will be easier to find a reply and also for others to see/help your problem
And the replies will be directed to your problem
You may have done this and the site messed up placing your post
If that is the case I would give it another try
