I just moved into a new house and the couple left a Maytag Neptune Stacked Washer/Dryer and it has been working fine but now the lock light won't come on and it won't lock so the clothes are sopping wet. What can I do to fix this problem. I have three small children and you know how they go through clothes...

Check the lock wax motor for proper operation.

Check the control board for a burnt resister.
