I have a Neptune Washer (MAH 4000) about 6 years old.
After a load is finished the Door Light Won't go off and the Door Stays Locked.
I have tested and / or replaced the 2 Switches that work either side of the Wax Motor. (when green button on switch is pushed in there is continuity between leads) Wax Motor seems to be working and does test 900 DC Res @ Room Temp. R 11 does not seem to be burned out and does test @ 118 DC Res. I don't notice any meltdowns on the main board on top of washer. There are no burn marks.
The unit does not seem to be getting up to the maximum RPM or Fast Spin cycle.
Garments are not soaked but not as dry as they should seem to be.
Once load is done. Clothes will tumble every couple of minutes slowly. Unit does seem to drain. I have been posting and reading a lot of posts on this forum
Can anyone tell me if this is covered under class action suit? Is there a easy fix to my issue? ( other than pulling red rip cord with each load )
I am having similar problem also.
Washer is almost 1 yr old.
Door is locked cannot get it open, or complete cycle.
You hear an AC hum then it kicks off.
Cannot get a tech for 2 weeks! (Not very happy about this!)
IS there any way i can reset this?
I can tell you this, there's supossed to be a relise cord under dispenser unit, never used it but saw it, on models, 3000 & 4000, a red plastic loop of cord that you pull to open the door.
Ok the cord could be out of reach, take out dispenser stuff, remove 4 phillipps screws, holding the rest of dispenser, and grab loop of what looks like, weed eater plastic string and pullBettyboop
