Washer will not spin after wash or rinse without help! Sounds like it's spinning but opening lid and holding down "lid closed" swich finds it is not really spinning. Can start the spinning action by gripping upper lip of tub and "push" starting. HELP!

Will the tub spin on its own once you start it and does it spin fast?

Here is a link to your washer model TAWS800JQ1.

Yes will spin after "push" starting. Spin is pretty slow.

This could be the clutch is worn out and needs to be replaced.

Look on the parts link that I have provided on post number two.

Go to the break and clutch breakdown to see the part.
