Default Need help with drain hook up
Brand: Frigidaire
Model Number: FDB740RC
Age: 1 - 4 years

I purchased a like new dishwasher - to replace a broken GE. I am having problems connecting the drain hose. The replacement dishwasher did not come with a hose attachment, just the drain assembly. The drain hose attched to the sink drain does not match the fitting on the new drain assembly. I have tried to find a connector, but the parts diagram does not show enough detail to and the installation instructions are even less helpful.

So anyone have any suggestions? I found a coupler at a local hardware store, but due to the angle of the drain assembly - the coupler is too long.

I am not sure what you are looking for. The drain hose should connect to the drain pump.

Can you please verify your model number as there are some characters missing at the end.
