Default My washer will not stop filling up
Brand: General Electric
Age: 1 - 4 years

my washer is almost a year old i guess and it wont stop filling up. my dad said there could be dirt in the valves but we dont know how to clean them out any help on this would be great

take the hoses of the back of the washer and look in where they screw on, if it is clean then its possible that the valve is bad , there is also a pressure switch on your washer if it is bad it wont tell the washer it is full,

Is it a front loader or a top loader????? That depends on how to tell you where it is connected to the tub and how to test it!!!!!!!
