Default Maytag won't agitate
Brand: Maytag
Model Number: Performa PAV2200AWW
Age: 5 - 10 years

My machine won't agitate!

It fills, spins, empties all the other good stuff, just won't agitate.

I've replaced the controller, verified the agitator splines are good. Belt motor and pulley are all where they should be and doing what they should do. Motor is driving the bottom of the transmission during the wash cycle, but agitator doesn't budge

Starting to feel like something expensive! HELP!!

It is sounds like there is a gear stripped in the transmission.
