Default Maytag water leak, spin not working
Brand: Maytag
Model Number: Atlantis
Age: 5 - 10 years

I have maytag atlantis, over past year after spin cycle, tub still filled with water. Had to reset back to spin for it to drain and spin out. Yesterday, water began coming from underneath washer. Back hoses and drains OK. Is this an easy(even semi-easy) thing to look for and trouble shoot?

Remove the front panel and see where the water is coming from.

It could be the pump.

Can you please supply your model number?

Not smart enough at first to take front off. Found the tabs, it is the tub drain hose leaking. I have put in a temp fix and hose is on order. As for the spin not working, I have ordered a new timer on the chance that is what is doing it.
Thanks,

Check your belts, they may just be water soaked and slipping in spin.
