My Maytag Washer makes a loud noise and shakes when it gets to a spin mode, I checked for anything broken or loose at the base by opening the front cover, but nothing is broken or loose. If anyone has encountered the same problem before and got a solution your help is appreciated.

With the washer empty tilt the washer back and remove the cap from the center of the pulley.

Check the white cam for wear by rotating the pulley counter clockwise.

Can you please provide your complete model number?

I have the same problem with my Atlantis model#MAV6260AWW We just had the transmission replaced and now it dances all over the wash room. I thought I might replace the damper pads or suspension springs, but I don't know what I'm doing.
