Default Maytag Washer leaking-desperate-please help!!!
Brand: Maytag
Model Number: A211
Age: 5 - 10 years

My washer began leaking only during the spin cycle. I took the front panel off and held the whole top off to discover where the water was coming from. It was coming out the air vents on the siphon break. It appeared there was a sponge that was between two washers which had dry rotted. I ordered a new sipon break and replaced it. The machine still leaked. Upon closer inspection the new siphon break doesn't have a sponge at all over the air vents. The machine is still leaking but now appears to be coming from the hose between the tub and pump. It appears to be coming out the end attached to the tub. Any suggestions?
