Default Maytag is unbalanced and banging
Brand: Maytag
Model Number: hav2360aww
Age: 1 - 4 years

I have had problems with the spin cycle for the past 3 weeks or so. It has been unbalanced during the spin cycle, and its now not draining the water well at all. I also noticed today there was a burning smell, that smells like a belt. There is a loud squeaking noise once the spin rinse cylcle begins.

I have had the same problem the last week. Were you able to find a solution? Was it simply changing the belt?

Yes it was just the belt that needed changing.
