Question Maytag Timer help needed
Brand: Maytag
Model Number: sav4655ewq
Age: 1 - 4 years

I suspect that the timer is malfunctioning but would like some advice before I replace this part.

The machine will not advance itself through the cycles automatically. I have to raise and lower the lid to get it to change or advance the knob manually. Am I right in diagnosing this as a timer prooblem?
