Default Maytag Neptune Model MAH5500BWW washes/rinses fine stops at spin cycle
Brand: Maytag
Model Number: MAH5500BWW
Age: 5 - 10 years

My clothes has been real wet after washing clothes. I put the washer on a quick cycle to try and trouble shoot this problem. During the quick cycle which I think is approx. 29 min. long went through the wash and rinse cycle fine so 7 min. left on timer at the start of the spin cycle and the timer went quickly to 0 and missed the spin cycle completely. The door lock light was on and the door was locked. Results clothes still rather wet from missing the spin cycle. My unit is approx. 6 years old and has been a reliable appliance until now. Any help would be appreciated.

Is the washer displaying any code.

If you put it in spin only will it spin the clothes out.

Here is a link to your washer model MAH5500BWW.
