Maytag Neptune makes wet clothes Brand: Maytag Model Number: MAH9700AWM Age: 1 - 4 years My Maytag Neptune washer MAH9700AWM is 2.5 years old and makes wet clothes only after 9 months in service.
It worked fine for the first 9 months no matter how much and what kind of detergent I used. HE detergent or non-HE. I used Tide HE and Wisk HE.
After 9 months it started having problem spinning out of water completely at the end of cycle and leaving wet clothes and 1/2 gallon of water inside no matter how much detergent I used.
If I used the recommended Tide HE amount then I will get SUDS error code and wet clothes.
If I used 1/2 of the recommended Tide HE amount then I will not get SUDS error code but still got wet clothes. Will I get the CLEAN clothes with 1/2 of the Tide HE.
In either cases I have to set the SPIN cycle ONLY after each load to spin water out. It is such a hassle and frustration.
Maytag Technician is a joke. Came, did some tests and told me to use less detergent and that's it. I requested the Maytag Tech spend 1 hour to see the problem from the beginning of the load to the end but they refused and blame it on too much detergent.
The Control Board was replaced at 10th month when the Neptune washer stopped working during rinse cycle, no power, door locked, wet clothes was inside. Called Maytag and they told me to wait a week with my wet clothes inside the washer. I found a way to open the door to remove the wet clothes.
Maytag Tech came out a week later and replaced the Control Board and the Suds Error and wet clothes still existed and I have to live with it since then.
Lousy Maytag Neptune washer (Made in Korea by Samsung) and Maytag service.
I believed I got a Lemon Neptune Washer.
I checked and the door lock lid every time. I did a spin test and the washer can go to the limit of 1200 RPM with 1 towel inside.
Does anyone know what's wrong with the Maytag Neptune washer wet clothes problem?. |
