 Maytag neptune mah5500b - making a noise during the wash cycle Brand: Maytag Model Number: MAH5500B Age: 5 - 10 years
A few weeks ago, my Maytag Neptune 5500B started to make a noise during the wash cycle. When it spins the tub in one direction, over the 10 second period, it will typically make from 0 to 3 clicking sounds that sound like a quarter is in with my wash.
Does anyone have any insight into what may have failed? Or, what the problem is?
During the spin cycle, I do not hear the noise. I only hear the noise during the wash cycle.
I purchased the machine in April 2001, and this is the first problem I've had with the machine.
In googling this topic, I heard about the class action lawsuit that was settled a few years ago. |
