Question Maytag doesn't go through cycles
Brand: Maytag
Model Number: LAT5006AAE
Age: More than 10 years

Hello

My 10+ year old washer is having troubles going through its cycles. It started by sometimes having to manually move the timer to get it to change cycles, now it sometimes doesn't want to work at all. If you play with the timer enough by turning it through the various settings it will work (sometimes). Could the timer itself just need to be replaced (obvious choice), or could it be something else? What diagnostics can I do to find out the issue?

Thanks in advance!!!
