I am attempting to help an elderly lady fix her washer. It is a Maytag top load M#lat9900aaw
It vibrates wildly on the spin cycle. It seems to gather intensity as the cycle goes on.
I have checked the obvious issues(load balance, level floor, springs intact...)
Wondering if it is the damper pads or belt?
The belts don't seem overly worn however...
What is the process for changing out the damper pads on this particular model?
Am I on the right path?

If it's under a year old, call the store and have it repaired for free under warranty
