Laundry lady complains of loud noise on spin .
have front off.. no leaks , no grease splatters, no water stains..only a few cobwebs.
Machine is loud on spin, but no grinding noise, no chatter noise, only a loud whinning or vibrating noise..
could the whine noise be the upper bearing?
no noise on agitate cycle. only spin?

If you have a steel tub, it might be a nail stuck in the spin basket. Also check pump for metal object.
